An Interport representative will call upon a visiting vessel to offer our services (or upon request from ships owner/agent) and coordinate the dispatch of a collection truck or barge to the ship. All high risk international waste is then packaged in double heavy duty bags, deposited in the collection truck or barge and delivered to the local incineration facility for disposal.

A detailed Waste Removal Manifest will be provided to the vessel for record keeping in accordance with Regulation 9 of Annex V of the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973 and MARPOL 73/78.
